I'm Claire. I'm seventeen. I love the world but have no geographical sense. Pretty much anything amuses me. I mostly rant about food, tennis (Nadal > Federer, sorry), pretty things, costume parties my friends and I constantly have, Asian boys (that can sing/dance/be dorky and cute whilst wearing feathers), A.P. classes I'm taking for some unknown reason, literature, theatre/drama/opera productions I'm in, and whatever random crap comes to mind. I am going to attend Smith College next year. I dabble in fandoms for mostly Harry Potter and Prince of Tennis, but I tend to spaz out over things like Powerpuff Girls, The Weekenders, and Oscar Wilde, so. Anything goes.

I'm a grammar/spelling stickler with a penchant for puns and Oxford commas. I also suck at typing and am hypocritical due to my constant typos and excited run-on sentences.

Ok, guys. I feel like it's been forever since I've had a Random Sunday Meme. (Probably, like, two weeks at most but whatever.) So, here's what's going down.

I was so ridiculously sick today, you guys. I spent most of the time passed out on the couch, drinking Tazo tea and pulpy orange juice. I would get tired of lying around, though, and would chat online for a bit until I got dizzy and fever-ish enough to doom myself to the couch again. School will be pissed at me, and my neck hurts in fifty different ways (sleeping is painful, ok). BUT! I woke up to find Mary Poppins halfway over on the TV, so I watched. And then in a fit of deliriousness, I wrote Michael Banks crackfic.

Hahahaha the ACT today was really weird. That's all I will say because, honestly, who cares about people ranting about standardized tests? Ignore the hypocrisy of this.

I got home to find everything in random places. The ottoman was on the front lawn, the cat was in the dishwasher, this really embarrassing thing was by the computer, somehow out of its hiding place. (I'm like a squirrel; I hide things in tiny nooks and sometimes under couches when I'm lazy WHICH I APPARENTLY WAS FOR THIS. D:) My parents decided that, now Katherine's gone, we should deep clean the entire house! :D :) :| :/

Apparently the Hoedown's tonight. I actually knew this, and purposefully and artfully concocted a plan so I would not have to go. It's all fallen through now, of course, so I may have to get out my ripped up jeans and one plaid shirt for the last time.

I just watched Nadal beat Moya! And yesterday was spent at another park picnic with the theatre crowd. Now I'm cleaning house some more and hoping to have a girls' movie night. Oh, summer. :)

However, what we need is not anger and bitter words, my friends-- what we need is a sense of humor to go with the snark and reasoning. Over Winter Break I started watching a new anime. This is weird since for a while I've been only watching dramas and stuff. But I stumbled across a shiny new show and it sort of made me giddy. I finally had time to watch more so far this break, and thought I'd share.
